Akinwale Roy Ojomo
Lead Researcher
Migration Observatory Program, Centre for African Studies, University of Porto
Akinwale Roy Ojomo is a Lead Researcher at the Migration Observatory Program at the Center of African Studies, University of Porto, Portugal. His work focuses on migration, integration and labour market policies, with a particular emphasis on African migration to Europe, diaspora engagement and program development. With a multidisciplinary background spanning Africa, the United States and Europe, Akinwale brings extensive experience in designing and implementing initiatives that connect migration research with real-world policy and practice. He is a recipient of the Young Global Leaders Award and the African Research Excellence Award.

David Patrick France brings together legal, economic and cultural perspectives in his interdisciplinary interest in migration, mobility and transnational exchange. Based in Basel, Switzerland, he works within a highly international environment at the crossroads of France, Germany, and Switzerland. His current work explores how cities, cultural practices, and professional networks shape the evolving geographies of global mobility.
Dr. Sunday I. Oyebamiji

Dr. Sunday Israel Oyebamiji is an academic and policy-oriented researcher whose work focuses on migration studies, political economy, and social protection. His research focuses on issues of race, gender, and inequality in Africa and Europe. He holds a PhD in International Relations from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and has completed certificates in Global Diplomacy from the University of London and Yale University.
Dr. Remi Alapo

York College, City University of New York
Dr. Remi Alapo is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at York College, CUNY, where she teaches within the History Department, as well as Cultural Diversity and Black Studies programs. Her academic work centers on migration, cultural identity, decolonized knowledge and inclusive, anti-racist pedagogies. Her research explores the intersections of migration, development, gender and leadership.
Adeniyi Sanusi

International Diaspora Forum / Migration Observatory Lab, University of Porto
Adeniyi Sanusi is a social reform advocate and social entrepreneur dedicated to advancing diaspora engagement, cross-cultural collaboration, and inclusive community development. He serves as the International Community Liaison Officer at the Migration Observatory and Diaspora Integration Lab, University of Porto. He is also the Founder, Chairperson, and Program Director of the International Diaspora Forum. He holds an MBA from the University of Nicosia and a BSc from the University of Lagos.
Natalija Lazevski
Project Assistant (Erasmus Intern)
FEFA Faculty, Metropolitan University Belgrade
Natalija Lazevski is an economics graduate whose interests focus on economic development and international cooperation. She holds a BSc in Economics from FEFA Faculty, Metropolitan University in Belgrade and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Business and Digital Transformation. She is currently an Erasmus intern contributing to conference organisation, academic research and the development of international collaborations.
